Your Impact

Reporting to the Senior QA Engineer, your new role as Technical Test Analyst will see you collaborate extensively with all team members, including TPAs, Test Analysts, QA Engineers, Developers, Product Owners to understand the business requirements, technical implementation and determine the best way to test the solution.

Both manual and automated test approaches to be conducted for test execution. You will be working with both our legacy system and our cutting-edge technologies. With opportunities to enhance skills to build test automation scripts including framework and test suites, and capability to utilise testing tools and alternate ways of testing.

Your Team

Critical to the success of the nib Group, the Core Applications team is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of key platforms including our legacy system, Salesforce, Policy Admin, Claims, Comms, and telephony. We are a highly collaborative team of high achievers. We love to explore, challenge and have a lot of fun along the way by challenging the status quo and experimenting.

Your Background

With demonstrated experience within a Test Analyst or IT Support role, you will have the desire to progress your career within the functional testing space, potentially with a view to move into the QA Engineering realms. Furthermore, you will have:
- Ability to analyse requirements from functional perspective- Ability to articulate and define a test approach, test cases and scenarios for any given context- Experience in testing APIs- Experience with databases - ability to run simple and complex queries and understand data structures- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative team environment- Good customer service and relationship building skills- Good verbal, written and documentation skills- Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Whether that means going back to the drawing board with a problem or simply taking on different roles and responsibilities.
