We're seeking a
Test Analyst
to join our Quality Assurance team, reporting directly to our QA Lead.
This is a 12-month contract position
perfect for a testing professional looking to advance their career in financial technology.
What does the team do in NextGen?
Our QA team ensures the reliability and quality of NextGen's cutting-edge mortgage processing systems and Open Banking platforms. We work closely with development teams using Agile methodologies, focusing on functional testing, API testing, and automated testing solutions that keep Australia's financial services running smoothly.
What does this role do within the team?
As a
Test Analyst
, you'll be responsible for:
•
Functional Testing
: Execute comprehensive manual testing across web applications and API services
•
Test Case Development
: Create and maintain detailed test cases, test data, and execution results
•
Stakeholder Collaboration
: Work directly with developers and product teams to identify testing requirements and priorities
Essential Skills:
•
1-3 years commercial testing experience
in Australia or overseas
•
Manual functional testing expertise
with strong test case creation abilities
•
API and database testing experience
with knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL
