Test Analyst

**About the Role**
You will be joining one of the essential tech teams at BOQ as a Test Analyst. BOQ is currently enjoying a rapid of period growth due to large scale funding to make BOQ the digital bank of the future with a personal touch. We are currently running a large scale tech transformation which includes technology uplifts across the business in core banking, payments and our digital platforms which involve major cloud projects.

The test Analyst will work collaboratively with Business users, and project teams as a conduit for effective knowledge transfer and communication.

Key objectives of the role:

- The Test Analyst will be responsible for analysing requirements for test planning; and developing and maintaining test cases for all relevant Test Phases.
- The Test Analyst will execute test cases, raise defects, conduct re-test and update defect records
- They will collaborate with the business users and developers to ensure a high-level quality product. This will include actively participating in workshops, guiding user acceptance testing, communicating test results to business and receiving signoff, and creation of Test cases or release to production.
- The test Analyst will work collaboratively with Business users, and project teams as a conduit for effective knowledge transfer and communication.
- They will look to continuously improve processes, including problem solving and critical thinking to decrease risk and defects and increase user experience.

**About you**
- 5 to 8 years of testing experience, ideally in Financial services
- Experience with Temenos Core Banking Platform - (T24 Arrangement Architecture experience is highly regarded)
- Strong communication and presentation skills (both written & verbal) with the ability to produce clear, detailed and accurate documentation. Able to communicate complexity in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders, as well as synthesise business requirements.
- Ability to deliver results in a timely manner, following established change, test and release procedures
- A good understanding of business processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Have a full understanding of test methodologies, test types and processes.
- Strong experience designing, developing and updating test cases
- Strong experience with updating and maintain existing test cases.
- Strong experience with managing, capturing and recording defects, defect investigation, defect replication and isolation and the importance of reliable means of defect reproduction.
- Regular use of a defect and test management system such as QTest, JIRA
- Experience & knowledge working with Test Tools - HP QC, Jira etc.
- Experienced test status reporting, test documentation & knowledge sharing
