**Overview of Position**

Sky Music is seeking a highly skilled and creative Marketing Specialist responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence, enhance customer engagement, and drive the business growth across both retail and digital channels. The role will involve designing various marketing campaigns tailored to Sky Music’s unique product offerings and diverse customer base while ensuring all marketing activities support the company’s overall growth, reputation, and positioning in the Australian musical instrument industry.

**Key Tasks**
- Strategising, planning, executing, and managing integrated marketing campaigns and policies to achieve the company’s sales, growth, and brand objectives.
- Working closely with the marketing manager to refine broader marketing strategies and translate them into actionable initiatives that strengthen Sky Music’s brand presence, attract new customers, and support business growth.
- Promoting Sky Music’s brand awareness and product sales by creating and managing marketing materials such as product catalogues, brochures, newsletters, and online contents.
- Researching and analysing market conditions, consumer trends, and customer behaviours to forecast demand, identify business opportunities, understand the current market trends, and design effective marketing programs.
- Designing and implementing digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media campaigns, online advertising, and e-commerce promotions to expand Sky Music’s digital reach.
- Conducting competitor analysis on product offerings, pricing strategies, and distribution channels to refine Sky Music’s marketing approach and maintain competitiveness.
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns against predetermined objectives, and preparing reports, and providing strategic recommendations to the marketing manager and the management.
- Assisting in key decision-making by providing the management and marketing manager with market insights, marketing campaign activities and results across various marketing channels, and tactical recommendations on advertising, promotions, pricing and distribution strategies.
- Monitoring and tracking marketing campaign expenditures against approved budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and reporting outcomes to the marketing manager.
- Communicating with current and prospective customers through digital platforms, events, and direct engagement to plan and deliver the most appropriate marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Analysing Sky Music’s sales performance, product pricing, and distribution channels to implement targeted marketing initiatives that increase customer engagement and drive sales.
- Maintaining and updating the company’s marketing database, consumer insights, and marketing campaign records to support the company’s marketing operations.
- Liaising with suppliers, retail partners, and brand collaborators to coordinate promotional activities and maximise marketing opportunities.

**Required Qualification & Experience and Skills/Knowledge**

**Academic Qualification**
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or in any discipline with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

**Work Experience**
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven professional experience in marketing, demonstrating capability in both strategic planning and practical campaign execution.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns through a variety of platforms.

**Skills/Knowledge**
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge in planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies.
- Solid knowledge of diverse marketing tools, tactics, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using marketing-related software and digital platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Well-developed organisational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple marketing campaigns and meet deadlines.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Chinese and Korean is a plus, but not essential.

Pay: $77,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
