**The Role**
As the Logistics Team Leader within the Force Structure Operations Directorate of the Military Workforce Design Division (MWDD), you will be responsible for the leadership, management and reporting of the Defence Materiel Entitlement Management Team.
The team is focused on the management of land materiel entitlements, and is responsible for both designing and operating the new Defence materiel entitlement management system to ensure the correct type of equipment, quantity and authority alignment for a military unit to hold the equipment and conduct its duties.
The Logistics team will liaise with a range of Defence stakeholders, including the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program, Business Operations Centre and the Logistics and Capability Management Branches of the ADF to support the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group and Joint Capabilities Group.
This position will include ongoing training and development and learning opportunities.
**About our Team**
The Force Structure Operations (FS-Operations) Directorate sits within the Military Workforce Design Division (MWDD) which is maturing to deliver against its mission to “design and control the ADF organisational structure, in order to contribute to integrated capabilities for the ADF”.
You will have excellent communication skills and will be expected to communicate complex equipment establishments in capability terms to enable decision-making at the strategic level.
You will be agile and have the ability to take the initiative and work within limited direction to proactively manage team cohesion and workload to meet organisational outcomes.
You will also need to be capable of creating, maintaining and reviewing Defence policies and processes associated with materiel entitlements with a range of stakeholders from different parts of Defence.
