The roleAs the Project Lead you will lead, manage and deliver projects that supplement the core Workforce Strategy action plan deliverables to address common workforce issues impacting the delivery of health services across Queensland. You will work in partnership with key stakeholders in achieving the delivery of strategies and plans. Finally, you will develop and maintain professional relationships and collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and groups
The successful personYou will have demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary health workforce challenges and the implications of these on health service delivery in Queensland. You will have demonstrated the ability to lead and manage projects designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating change in business processes and operations. Furthermore, you will have high level interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish and maintain high-level relationships.

Clinical Planning and Service Strategy (CPSS) is responsible for delivering clinical service strategy and planning; workforce strategy, planning and leadership, mental health strategy and planning; and precision medicine and research to improve health services available to the Queensland community. CPSS collaborates with health system leaders, hospital and health services (HHSs), other divisions in the Department, clinical networks, key healthcare providers, research and academic organisations, State and Commonwealth agencies as well as non-government organisations.
