CS Energy is seeking a Project Lead - a results-driven professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and can turn strategy into successful on-the-ground delivery.

About the Role

As Project Lead, you'll take ownership of key projects through the execution and delivery stages of the lifecycle, ensuring that scope, safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.

You'll work collaboratively with the Development (Studies) Leads and cross-functional stakeholders to bring projects from planning to reality, ensuring seamless construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the execution phase of assigned projects, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and time.
  • Managing contractor performance, procurement, and on-site coordination.
  • Overseeing construction, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
  • Driving safety, quality, and risk management throughout delivery.
  • Reporting transparently on project performance across cost, schedule, and risk metrics.
  • Ensuring project outcomes integrate effectively with operational teams and long-term asset performance.

This role is based full time at Kogan Creek Power Station, approximately 15 minutes outside of Chinchilla. You will work a 40-hour week across 4-days with a Friday or a Monday rostered day off. Travel to other sites may be required at times.

About You

You're an experienced project delivery professional with a track record of success in a heavy, capital-intensive industry.

You bring energy, structure, and accountability to your work, leading with integrity and collaboration.

You'll also have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, a related technical discipline or extensive practical experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience or more managing projects above $500K.
  • Strong capability in project planning, cost control, and risk management.
  • Proven experience leading site-based project execution, including contractor and stakeholder management.

Qualifications in project management, will be highly regarded.
