**Your new role awaits**
Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Service Coordinator **(based in Moorebank)** is responsible for coordinating a team of Field Service Mechanics within a designated service area and ensuring all breakdowns reported on customer sites are responded to and dealt with promptly and safety. You may also find yourself having to source repair advice over the phone in those times to assist our mechanics.
- Coordination of plant and equipment servicing, repairs, breakdowns, calibrations and inspections.
- Maintaining records, data entry and updating internal systems
- Liaising directly with customers for service calls and bookings
- Drive service efficiency and improvement project initiatives through the field service team
- Liaising with contractors for service and repair bookings
- Maintaining current jobs & closing off service Jobs
**About you**
You may have run a workshop, a mechanical trade team, or supervised field service staff in the past. Or you may be fantastic at organising an efficient breakdown service. Either skill set will also require:
- **Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 3.36 pm**:
- Intermediate computer skills (particularly MS Excel and Word)
- An ability to self-manage your own time and workload accordingly
- The need to be detail and process orientated, able to understand maintenance processes and document them for our records.
- An appreciation of (or understanding of) the legal requirements (compliance) for servicing plant and equipment.
- Mechanical background will be highly regarded
