Auction Coordinator

Grays currently has a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly and motivated team as an onsite Auction Coordinator. **Multiple casual positions available**. In this role you will attend vendor sites to prepare for and coordinate online auctions with the goal of ensuring a smooth and timely auction process.
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Detailed asset cataloguing and photography to ensure assets for sale are accurately entered into our asset management system.
- Managing onsite inspection periods in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing sales enquiries in a timely manner, providing excellent service and maximising sales opportunities.
- Liaising with the vendor and relevant service providers to ensure the safe, timely and efficient decommissioning and removal of assets.
- Proactive implementation of the Grays Work Health and Safety onsite compliance program.
**We’re looking for someone who has**:
- Experience in a similar role / technical environment.
- Exposure to industrial equipment.
- A positive, team and customer focused attitude.
- The ability to operate independently on vendor sites.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- A current forklift licence and Australian driver’s licence.
- WH&S experience and/or qualifications.
This role will involve driving out to vendor sites so we’re seeking someone who is happy to use their own reliable vehicle to drive to sites (a kilometre allowance will be applied).
