The Role
We're seeking an Office & Customer Support Coordinator who is organised, confident, and great at communication.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing multiple tasks, and contributing to a positive, professional team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling customer communications — phone, email, and social media — promptly, professionally, and with genuine care.
- Explaining and recommending products to customers and salon clients; ability to upsell when appropriate over the phone or in-person.
- Assisting customers in our Moorebank showroom with product guidance and friendly support.
- Providing general administrative and office assistance, including managing supplies and amenities.
- Helping to organise salon training sessions and "Look & Learn" events — coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and assisting on event days.
- Taking initiative to coordinate team lunches, meetings, and small events to maintain a connected workplace.
- Acting as a professional representative when liaising with suppliers, technicians, and visitors.

You will bring:
- Excellent communication skills — clear, friendly, and confident across phone, email, and social media.
- A strong customer service mindset with natural ability to connect and build relationships.
- Confidence to explain products and upsell professionally when assisting clients.
- Exceptional multitasking and organisational skills, with great attention to detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude — you take initiative to solve problems and help the team.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce systems (highly regarded).
- Previous experience in administration, reception, customer support, or beauty industry roles (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in customer service, administration, or related roles is required.
