**Your new company**
Your new company is a well established Community Services organisation headquartered in Townsville, that provides Aged Care and Disability Support Services across Brisbane, Townsville and Charters Towers. They require an Aged Care Home Care Package (HCP) Regional Manager to lead their operations in Brisbane and oversee the broader Aged Care side of the business.
**Your new role**
Your new role will report directly to the General Manager and oversee the Aged Care division of the organisation. You will directly manage a team of 11 staff in Brisbane with oversight of 3 staff across Townsville and Charters Towers. Your duties:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the HCP Service Delivery Manager, Case Managers, Rostering Team, and Admin Team- Oversee recruitment, performance management, performance development, training and education, and terminations.- Accountability for quality audit and assurance review processes.- Undertake projects in consultation with the General Manager to grow and improve operations in line with the organisation's strategic plan.
- Manage risks and performance through understanding and interpretation of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Code of Conduct, HCP Operational Manual, HCP scope & guidelines, and organisational Policies & Procedures.
**What you'll need to succeed**- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Care Management or relevant community service-related field- Management qualification, OR extensive management experience in aged care- In-depth understanding, and experience in the aged care system, particularly the Home Care Package Program and relevant legislation and audit requirements- Strong background in Quality, Risk, and Compliance- Proficiency in preparing well-researched, clearly presented reports.
