**We have an exciting opportunity for an Intelligence Analyst to join our Fraud & Intelligence team in either Brisbane or Sydney.**

This role will support the delivery of intelligence functions across Fraud and Intelligence. A key aspect of the role is to provide advanced analytics and information management to enhance the company’s overall fraud detection strategy and investigations methodology.

In addition, the role is pivotal in developing strategic intelligence products and providing valuable business insight into the trends across the fraud systems and investigation outcomes.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop strategic intelligence products to provide insights into fraud trends and investigation outcomes.
- Maintain accurate intelligence holdings to support decision-making and investigations.
- Identify risks and opportunities in fraud control measures and assist in tactical project design.
- Conduct research and deliver insights on intelligence and investigation trends.
- Manage the Fraud Hotline platform and facilitate fraud intelligence collection.
- Lead the development of training tools for effective tactical intelligence operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify fraud trends and mitigate risks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in fraud intelligence capabilities.

**What you’ll bring**
- Previous experience in an Intelligence role - preferably in the Insurance industry (mandatory)
- Tertiary degree in Intelligence, Investigations or similar (Desired)
- A background in risk analysis, fraud detection, or investigative work would be a distinct advantage
- Experience building successful stakeholder relationships
- Strong ability to analyse large data sets, identify patterns and derive insights
- Strong problem-solving skills - ability to uncover suspicious or unusual activity
- Strong research capabilities
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to prepare and present reports and negotiate and liaise with a wise range of stakeholders
- Competent in the use of IT systems and software with a sound ability in the use of i2, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
