Macquarie Group is looking for an Executive Threat Intelligence Analyst to join the Global Security and Fraud (GSF) team, who is dedicated to protecting the security of Macquarie’s people, assets, reputation and confidentiality of client information.

As an Executive Threat Intelligence Analyst, your primary responsibility is to liaise between the clients, the Global Security Regional Security Director and designated GSOC (Global Security Operations Centre) Analysts and provide discreet, intelligence-led, and risk-based executive intelligence support to the designated Senior Executives.

You will be developing a robust and professional client relationship with the designated principal and supporting the ANZ Regional Security Director with other threat management functions that may include risk assessments and training. You will work closely with the GSOC team and other internal stakeholders as appropriate and external peers and law enforcement networks when required.

Having international experience in intelligence gathering and social media monitoring will be advantageous.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide discreet support to the principal that includes the collection and analysis of open-source intelligence
- Identify, analyse, and advise on adverse conditions that could affect the safety and security of the senior executive
- Conduct advanced threat assessments on the movements of the principal
- Establish, implement, review, improve controls to protect the senior executive
- Generate customised reports providing regular consultations and threat briefings
- Provide regular briefings to the ANZ Regional Director about the threat profile of the clients
- Support our Active Threat Response Program
- Provide intelligence analysis support to the GSOC
- On an ad hoc basis, be available during evenings and weekends to respond to unexpected emergencies and situations, travel domestically and internationally from time to time.

**Competencies**:

- Have at least 5 years’ experience as an Intelligence Analyst and/or Investigator
- Have tactical knowledge and experience about cyber and information security investigations
- Able to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely; ability to prepare and deliver high level presentations and briefings, for both internal and external audiences
- Able to relate well to others with confidence and empathy, build trust and remain calm and resourceful during demanding situations
- Highly flexible, adaptable, and motivated, with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Strong judgment, decision making and situational awareness.
