We create amazing event experiences in unique spaces, specialising in weddings, corporate events and social groups.

We operate in our own iconic venues at South Wharf, including our flagship venue Showtime Events Centre, plus Cargo Hall and the most recent addition of Aerial.

We also have exclusive catering contracts across a number of Melbourne's most unique venues including:

- State Library Victoria
- Sealife - Melbourne Aquarium
- Hellenic Museum
- Rippon Lea Estate
- Polly Woodside
- Old Melbourne Gaol

As our group continues to grow we now have an opportunity for someone to join our fast-paced and dynamic team as a Wedding Sales Executive, based at the State Library Victoria.
- The Role: _

Managing a steady level of inbound enquiries, you will have the opportunity to create your own pipeline and take full ownership of the entire sales process.

With a primary focus on Weddings, you will also be assisting clients looking for interesting and unique options to host social events at both the State Library and Old Melbourne Gaol.
- The Wedding Sales Executive: _

The role is perfect for those who genuinely enjoy the weddings market and understand a couples emotive search for the “perfect venue”.

With several unique event spaces on offer, the varying needs of different clients can nearly always be accommodated within the grand spaces of the State Library.

We expect you will have a good understanding of the weddings market and sales process.

Ideally you will also be highly effective in qualifying enquiries and proactive in managing your sales pipeline.
- Responsibilities of this role include: _
- Timely and proactive response to enquiries
- Facilitate site inspections
- Provide detailed proposals in an effort to convert sales opportunities
- Maintain a successful sales conversion rate
- Contract and secure business according to set targets
- Client management and ongoing relationship building
- Collaborate and work in conjunction with key suppliers and the Showtime Producers
- Participate in team meetings and work closely with our existing Wedding and Events team.
- Ideally you will have: _
- Experience selling Weddings and or Events
- A strong passion for weddings
- A background in hospitality
- A knowledge of the wider events industry and competitor landscape

This is a full-time role working a Tuesday - Saturday week with flexibility to meet business demands.
