_This role is based at a venue in Port Melbourne which is offering function facilities for the mainly corporate, leisure and wedding markets. _
- We are seeking a result driven Functions Sales Coordinator who is involved from the initial inquiries, site inspections, bookings._
- Importantly, any PCO experience and network is highly appreciated. _
- Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative
- Implementing sales strategies and achieve targets
- Use PCO's during non-peak periods over the year
- Create awareness and sales collaterals
- Establishing new business leads and follow through
- Build and strengthen relationships with new customers to enable future bookings
- Develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities
- Working closely with the operations team and other departments
- Provide accurate, complete and effective turnover to event operations
- Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence)
- Updating & maintaining Clients list
- Monitor conference performances to set targets and budgets
- Identify new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals
- Demonstrate a proven track record in constantly reinventing the guest service experience and best working culture
- Manage the overall venue activities of this venue - we are looking for someone who is exceptionally sales talented, creative and out-of-the-box thinking

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexible hours

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Function or Event: 3 years (preferred)
