**Your new company**
Located in the city fringe, this Public Sector Department is focused on bringing services together to support economic development and growth of sectors in South Australia. They are looking for someone to join their team in a temporary position to assist with project workflow through a busy period.

**Your new role**
As a Public Information Adviser, you will report to the Team Leader and be a part of the wider MarComms team. You will assist with response management and be responsible for all communications content ensuring effective communication of key messages and information.

You will have experience in a dynamic environment where priorities can change based on urgent requirements and will be comfortable managing various tasks in a fast-paced industry. Your role will have a strong focus on media including drafting releases, and management of media requests and enquiries. Other communications channels you will be responsible for include social media, industry communications, EDMs, and other digital platforms.

This newly created position is a 5-week temporary assignment with the possibility of extension.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Experience developing communications plans
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience drafting, managing and development media releases and enquiries
- Proven ability to develop, create and edit content for various communication channels
- Experience in a fast-paced collaborative team environment whilst being able to work autonomously on independent projects
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders of various levels
- Experience in an emergency response or biosecurity communications role is preferred but not required

Please note you must have a valid National Police Clearance, or be willing to obtain one, to be eligible for this role.
