We're looking for a Principal Communications Adviser to join our team and contribute to the delivery of quality communications that will assist the network to achieve its ambition of being a world-class healthcare provider.
In this role, you will use your senior communication skills to deliver strategic communications, marketing and promotional plans and campaigns that will drive greater engagement amongst our staff and community and build on the network’s reputation.
As Principal Communications Adviser you’ll play a key role in building the network’s brand, reputation and engagement with key audiences by
- developing and implementing effective communications and marketing strategies that are creative and build internal and external engagement
- identifying proactive opportunities to promote CALHN’s world-class care and research
- leading a small team to deliver content, graphic design and events for the network.
- preparing communications materials including speeches, articles, presentations, EDM and web content and social media content.
- effectively identifying and assisting with issues management as required
**About you**
Working within a small team in a fast-paced environment you’ll
- be adaptable and able to work across changing priorities and with multiple stakeholders efficiently, effectively and flexibly.
- have experience in building and maintaining productive relationships and working across multiple projects, priorities and business areas efficiently, effectively and with a strong focus on continuous improvement
- be digitally savvy with excellent communications skills, strong judgement, and the ability to be a team player.
- have strong project management, planning and organisational skills, and demonstrate good initiative and
- possess tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism or relevant field required.
