- We’re on the hunt for a General Sales Manager to join our Media Sales team based in Toowoomba._

**What you’ll be doing**:
As our newest **General Sales Manager**, you will lead our close-knit and high performing Sales team and will be tasked with building close relationships within the Darling Downs/Toowoomba local business network to create innovative, tailored advertising solutions across SCA’s diverse array of media assets.
In this key leadership role, you will be instrumental in providing a clear vision, coaching, mentoring and bringing out the very best in your people. You will formulate and implement plans and strategies to ensure SCA is the perceived as the number one media advertiser in market. Additionally, an element of travel will be required in this role for client visits and to provide support to Account Managers within other SCA markets.
This is the perfect role for an ambitious and inspiring people leader who a proven sales track record who is looking to start 2021 with a new challenge
**Experience we’re looking for**:
- Experience leading a diverse and high-performing sales team
- Commercial success delivering sales strategy, within a B2B setting
- Commitment, resilient and confidence (sense of humour highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, you know how to captivate your audience
- A love for all things Aussie TV, Radio, Podcasting and Digital Media
- Experience building relationships with local businesses and has a passion for your community
- A creative flair and the ability to think outside the box to create innovative solutions
- An unrestricted driver’s license and a strong local knowledge of the Darling Downs region
