Our Federal Government client is seeking
**three Revenue Management Support Officers** to work in the Cost Recovery Management Section.

**Overview of the section**:
The section sets and manages the cost recovery framework and policies for the department and undertakes activity-based costing, makes recommendations in relation to the department's fees and charges; and manages the collection of the department's revenue, including issuing annual charges invoices and debt management as well as facilitating and managing HPRG labour hire contracts and processing payment of supplier invoices. The Cost Recovery Management Section (CRMS) is also responsible for the effective operation of the legislated annual charge exemption (ACE) scheme and sponsor compliance with the scheme.
**Duties of the role include but is not limited to**:
- Support team leaders with preparation and issuance of annual charge invoices
- Complete payment receipt management activities as directed, including assisting with receipting payments on a daily basis
- Complete account management activities as directed, including a range of financial processing functions such as preparing account credits and refunds
- Complete debt management activities as directed, including recording requests for payment by installment plans and supporting team leaders to prepare to issue cancellations for non-payment of annual charges
- Triage, investigate, resolve, and respond to standard and less complex internal and external stakeholder inquiries, identifying issues for escalation
- Issue monthly statements of account, complete system-based reconciliations, and contribute towards identifying and implementing business process and system improvements
- Provide surge support during peak periods of workload in both the labor hire and revenue management streams, actively develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute towards the regular review of standard operating procedures to maintain relevance, efficiency, and accuracy
**Ideally, you will have**:
- Demonstrated experience in a financial operations team, such as Accounts receivable or Accounts Payable function
- Demonstrated customer service experience and commitment to providing high-level responsive and professional support
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
**Desirable, but not essential**:
- Experience in, and working knowledge of, Government’s financial management framework including debt management
