Marketing Specialist - 12 month Max Term Contracts

About the Role

We have two opportunities for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team at AGL.

Both specialist positions with play an integral role as members of the Loyalty & Engagement team and the Emerging Business Marketing Team.

The first Marketing Specialist position will play an integral role, in supporting the Loyalty & Engagement team, with accountability for supporting the Loyalty & Engagement Manager and wider team to execute the FY24 plan and objectives.

The role supports the Loyalty & Engagement team's key purpose, to develop and monitor a series of always-on engagement campaigns. The purpose of these campaigns is to reinforce to our customers the value of being with AGL.

The second Marketing Specialist role supports our Emerging Business Marketing Team and is responsible for leading New Product marketing initiatives leveraging AGL’s brand, products and capabilities to support the Customer Markets strategic objectives. The purpose of the Marketing Specialist - Batteries, is to develop best practice marketing strategies and go-to-market plans which will change the way in which customers experience energy and engage.

Key accountabilities for both roles include:
- Develop marketing strategies that leverage AGL’s brand, products and capabilities to deliver to Customer Markets priorities- Effectively implement all campaign initiatives adhering to the communications campaign processes, on time and on budget, to help meet business objectives.- Ensure all marketing communications meet brand identity guidelines and legal and regulatory requirements.- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to define key marketing metrics and agreed targets, and report on performance against those metrics.- Work collaboratively with data and personalization teams to ensure relevant targeting of content to priority segments.- Contribute to regular agency briefings to ensure content development is on brand and on message while driving high levels of engagement.- Drive innovation through our communications to shift the way our customers experience energy- Leverage data, insights and capability to personalise communications with our customers, align offers, messages and channels to customer need- Build effective relationships with our media, digital and creative agencies for innovative and customer-focused outputs- Ensure all marketing activity considers the political environment and aligns with legal and regulatory frameworks

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or business-related field.- Tenured experience (3-5 years in Integrated Marketing. Delivering and implementing Engagement strategies across large and complex organizations- Ability to draw upon insights and deliver conclusive and substantiated recommendations- Outstanding stakeholder management skills to ensure recommendations are delivered on time and to brief- Ability to understand operational environment and consider system capabilities for decision-making- Ability to manage and work through complexity and deal with ambiguity- Ability to understand the legal and regulatory framework in the energy industry and how that impacts marketing activity - highly regarded.- Effective self-management skills: ability to work in cross-functional teams and contribute to wider organizational goals and culture.- Understanding of personalization and marketing automation technology and execution including data and analytics.- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management experience, including with senior management.- Experience with Adobe Campaign is preferable but not essential.
