**How will I help?**

The Customer and Business Bank (CBB) Institute is the gateway for learning and development for all employees within the CBB division. The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing learner-centric initiatives and programs that deliver against the CBB strategy. We are open to location for this role, it can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and developing learner centric learning solutions that execute against CBB strategy
- Crafting experiences where learners are challenged ranging from e-books, self paced and facilitated sessions. Including digital learning content development.
- Working in collaboration with the Capability Manager and business stakeholders to compete needs analysis for aligned programs / initiatives.
- Partnering with Capability Manager to develop detailed high-level solution design to meet learning objectives
- Developing training materials
- Consulting with business partners / SME’s to identify issues and root cause of capability issues
- Designing & creating successful assessment strategies

**What do I need?**

You will have demonstrated experience in instructional design and learning practice having worked and designed learning solutions for groups or individuals.Ideally you will have experience working within large, complex organisations with a track record of delivering business outcomes. A proven ability to build strong senior stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes is important.

You will be organised and have excellent time management to be able to plan out work and manage time effectively on a number of projects with competing priorities. You will possess strong facilitation skills and be able to confidently run design workshops. A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to operate in a changing environment is essential. Experience working in agile environments would be beneficial.
