**ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE**

Our client is a global leading innovator and manufacturer of components for the medium and heavy duty vehicle industry. Due to extended growth, they now require a highly motivated and driven Customer Service representative to join their sales team.

**KEY RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Enter and maintain sales orders and be the liaison of delivery dates and other requirements with colleagues and customers;
- Co-ordinate picking slips and despatch dates so that Planning and Warehouse staff are able to meet the customers desired delivery date;
- Administer and control Return Material Authorisation for return parts;
- Support customers in identifying and interpreting parts requirements;
- Data entry to support operations functions such as warranty and quality claims;
- Ensure all filing (electronic and hard copy) is kept up to date and in order;
- Improve departmental effectiveness by implementing process enhancements;
- Other duties as required to support Planning, Procurement and Logistics functions or as requested by management.

**SKILLS AND EXPERTISE**
- Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in customer service, ideally working with technical or industrial product;
- Experience using MRP/ERP to access information and data is essential;
- Intermediate to advanced ability in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with and through people;
- Be able to work unsupervised, as part of a team and take ownership;
- Have a thorough and professional approach
- Be flexible and adaptable and are able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
