Perth, Australia NES FIRCROFT Full time

NES Fircroft are working with an Oil & Gas regulator seeking a HR Officer to join their team in the Perth CBD office.

**Job Title**: HR Officer

**Location**: Perth CBD

**Working Roster**: Monday to Friday 8 hour days

**Flexibility**: Option for condensed working week, 9 hour days, 9 day fortnight (Every second Friday off)

**WFH**: 2 days per week

**Start date**: ASAP

**Department**: Human Resources / Business Transformation

**HR / Recruitment experience needed**: 2 - 4 years minimum

**Pay rate**: Negotiable

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide up to date and accurate generalist human resources advice to management and staff.
- Support HR initiatives and programmes, including employee performance management and professional development.
- Assist in the development of efficient and effective HR work practices.
- Assist in monitoring and ensuring company compliance in relation to legislative workplace practices and internal policies and reporting requirements.
- Assist with the provision of payroll services in partnership with Finance, including: data entry of new employee, higher duty and transfer information on HRIS. Protect the integrity of all company personnel and organisational records.
- Undertake HR project work as directed by the Assistant Manager, Human Resources.
- Comply with company business policies and processes, including financial communication, information and human resource practices; the APS Values and Code of Conduct and requests and directions from the Chief Executive Officer.

**Experience**:

- Ability to undertake recruitment activities from commencement to end, including advertising, selection, on-boarding and induction.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering generalist advice on HR policies and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to establish collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and ability to interact with management and staff at all levels of the organisation in order to contribute to the resolution of HR issues.
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control own workload.

**Desirable**
- Hold appropriate tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of APS HR legislation and practices.
