Join a global retail business as their Logistics Manager in the team based in Northern Sydney on an initial 12-month contract, with opportunity for permanency, great remuneration, hybrid flexibility in an excellent role with a globally recognised brand.

**Your new role**

In your new role as Logistics Manager, you’ll lead a small team owning the end-to-end logistics function for the ANZ market. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics function, ensure maximised efficiency and profitability across all distribution channels.
- Supporting and training the logistics team, ensuring staff are hitting KPIs and assisting in developing personnel where possible, while assisting management as necessary.
- Communicate key logistics updates to the wider business, both across the operations teams and key commercial stakeholders, informing the wider business on potential delays and new initiatives.
- Working with 3rd party transport providers to ensure upkeep and improvement of service levels, investigate and resolve issues, and maintaining strong working relationships.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a logistics management role, though not strictly required, exposure to a B2B/B2C retail environment will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated understanding of international logistics, 3PL management, inventory control, transport, and freight forwarding.
- Strong people leadership skills, with a proven track-record of managing and developing a small to medium-sized team.
- Competency across the MS Office suite, with ERP systems/Power BI experience highly regarded.
