**RESERVATIONS AND YIELD MANAGER**

**Located in the heart of the Whitsundays**

**We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations and Yield Manager who will be responsible for achieving optimal sales and yield in relation to budgeted room revenue and occupancy.**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the Resort, its operations, and the local area, features and activities
- Updating third party websites for close-out dates, collaboration with Wholesalers and Travel and Agents
- Forecasting and monitoring forecast occupancy
- Group quoting, contracting and block management
- Forecasting
- analyse market segments, daily trends to identify key needs and opportunities.
- Demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, inventory control.
- Real-time Inventory Management
- Cross Training Coordination of Front Office and Reservation Teams

**Essential requirements**:

- Strong working knowledge of all domestic wholesale companies
- Strong understanding of yield and revenue management
- 4 - 5 Star Hotel/Resort background
- MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint skills
- Good working knowledge of Site Minder and mapping of rates
- Previous experience with CMS including loading rates, wholesale allotments are essential.
- Thorough understanding of Front Office procedures and knowledge of computerised reservations/property management systems
- Vibrant telephone manner, excellent communication skills and professional presentation
- Task-driven focus and attention to detail ,superior time management and organizational skills
- Agree to undertake Responsible Management of Licensed Venue(RMLV certification
- Open Driving Licence
- Permanent Residency
