**Information Management Coordinator **who would be interested in a 3-month contract within Local Government.

- _Must have leadership experience and capability._
This role is responsible for ensuring Council’s records and information are maintained securely, reliably and consistently. You will be supporting a wider team and offering your support and guidance through your expertise within this space.
Although this role is advertised for 3-months, there is the likelihood for an extension whilst the Council strategise long-term planning.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Managing end to end life cycle of information (digital and hardcopy) whilst complying with Public Records Office Victoria standards and other legal/ relevant legislation.
- Provide leadership to the Information Management team and guide them through an environment with change.
- Promote effective information and records management practice across Council.
- Managing audits of Information and records management and implement continuous improvement.
- Responsible for making decisions on problems that may be complex and technical in nature, especially in relation to EDRMS.
- Lead and implement key changes initiative to uplift Information Management Service Delivery.

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Management or related field with relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to apply, requirements of legislation, including Public Records Act, Evidence Act and Local Government Act.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team and implementing EDRM systems, enhancements (such as O365, SharePoint, Content Manager and/or EDRMS) in collaboration with IT teams.
- High level of interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal skills.
- Resilient in a changing environment and maintains professionalism.
