The City invites a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to become a part of our Parking Services Unit as the Business Improvement Manager. As a vital member of the Business Development Team, you'll play a pivotal role in steering and enhancing the Parking Services Project and Improvement functions. This role allows you to engage and collaborate with a diverse team, focusing on a range of tasks linked to both on-street and off-street parking operations, as well as commercial accounting.

**About the Position**

The Business Improvement Manager role provides Executive and Council support, with the provision of high-quality parking advice to enhance and support the City’s decision-making processes.

The role assists with corporate business planning, monitoring, and reporting, in continuously reviewing the Unit’s practices, procedures, and systems to ensure legislative compliance and to achieve gains in productivity and customer service, and the day-to-day operations and activities of the Unit.

In your role as the Business Improvement Manager, you will support the City by:

- Developing, implementing, and maintaining a strategic plan for parking improvement initiatives with robust objectives, processes, and structure.
- Providing key leadership that embraces a culture of teamwork and respect while supporting the Alliance Manager with Corporate Business planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Undertaking and managing projects and initiatives to attract and retain business in City of Perth Parking and undertake project scoping, risk vs benefit analysis, and evaluation of such initiatives.
- Mentoring and developing officers within the Business Development Team to understand and deliver a contemporary business approach.
