The Role The role is crucial for driving overall customer satisfaction through achieving and exceeding daily order output targets, safe operation and overall efficiency of the warehouse operation. As Warehouse Manager you will be integral to the warehouse operation, leading by example and fostering a positive team spirit within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on managing the overall function of the warehouse, while overseeing and providing guidance to a small team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team to prepare and manage daily pick/packing schedule
- Organise logistics/shipping options in accordance with order requirements (local and interstate).
- Communicate with customers on order status and ensure accuracy on pick slips for invoicing
- Active management and control of freight costs
- Develop and implement warehouse and inventory monitoring systems and procedures
- Be actively involved in continuous improvement of policies and procedures
- Conduct regular cycle counts to evaluate and analyse inventory variations

Experience
- Broad warehousing experience including with combined distribution/manufacturing businesses.
- Proven ability to implement continuous improvement procedures.
- A customer mindset; providing an excellent level of service to internal and external customers.
- A hands-on approach to build strong relationships with your team.
- Forklift (LF) and Order Picker (LO) license.
- Car License.
