Our client based in Perth is looking for a Business Improvement Officer for a temporary period. This is a great opportunity to work within a government department

**Your new role**

As a Business Improvement Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating the development, management, and implementation of assigned projects
- Undertaking research, data interpretation, evaluation, and facilitates directorate operational planning processes
- Monitoring business activity performance and quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinating process improvement initiatives in line with continuous improvement principles.
- Contributing to the achievement of cooperate objectives through effective management
- Building proactive working relationships
- Providing affective leadership within the businesses policies and procedures

**What you'll need to succeed**

Experience in a similar position will be required, as well as:

- Experience in writing highly complex material
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating a team, including workload management
- Ability to integrate external information about industry, environment, government objectives and the wider department context into planning operations
- Experience in project management and service improvement strategies
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of strategic objectives, trends and factors that could influence work plans and goals
- Demonstrates good judgement, research, and analytical skills
