**About your role**
UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business has an opportunity for experienced
**Procurement Officer** to join our high performing team specifically working within our build and maintenance projects. This role will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the
_Procurement Team Leader_, the role is responsible for the purchasing of production/project material requirements (raw materials, components, equipment and services) as per schedule, sourcing and coordinating suitable suppliers to meet UGL Rail and customer business goals regarding quality, availability, cost, warranties and suitability. This role requires monitoring of supply and ensuring suppliers conform to commercial and contractual requirements of all orders placed.
**About you**
- Previous experience within a similar role is advantageous
- Preferably Intermediate to advanced SAP & Excel operational experience
- Experience in contract negotiation and administration would be highly advantageous
