**Position Information**:
St Clair Public School is located in Sydney's western suburbs and is part of the Eastern Creek Network of schools. The school has an enrolment of 280 students with 10 mainstream classes and 5 multicategorical support classes. 42% of our students have a language background other than English and 9% of students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

We have an itinerant hearing team onsite which supports schools in the Doonside to Kingswood area. Students from birth to Year 12 are supported by the ISTH team.

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach Hearing Impairment. Experience teaching students with hearing impairments with a demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate quality, inclusive learning plans with successful learning outcomes, to meet the complex needs of students with hearing impairment across varied educational settings.

Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders within the school and community to support students with hearing impairment from diverse backgrounds.

Knowledge of and capacity to use assistive technology in supporting equal access to the curriculum for students with hearing impairments.
