**About Student and Scholarly Services**
Student and Scholarly Services (SASS) provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff. **Collection Access and Development** supports Scholarly Services through the procurement, management, supply and maintenance of the Scholarly Services collections as required for the University’s teaching, learning, research and engagement objectives.

**About the Role**
As the Team Leader, Agreements, you will coordinate content for Scholarly Services’ procurement of bulk agreements, as well as associated analysis, licensing management and invoicing processes. You will manage a high performing team of five staff, with a demonstrated commitment to user-centred problem resolution. You will oversee workflows, processes, practices and resources that enable the effective management of journal and database subscriptions, evidence-based acquisition packages and other electronic resources.

A key function of this role will be liaising with vendors and other stakeholders to build relationships and keep informed of product developments and emerging needs.

In a typical week at work, you may:

- Manage and coordinate staff in the Agreements teams, their daily workflows, performance development and operational problem solving of escalated queries
- Contribute to continuous improvement to operational workflows through identification of relevant emerging technology, purchasing models, content coordination practices and improved analysis
- Assess license terms, analysis and stakeholder feedback to provide expert recommendations on purchases and renewal decisions to the Manager, Collection Development and Maintenance

**About You**
You will be an experienced team leader, capable of identifying and communicating team workflows and resource requirements to enable your team to function effectively. A highly organised and experienced administrator, you will prioritise your tasks to meet deadlines and manage your time accordingly. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Your strong attention to detail and creative approach to problem solving will set you up for success in this role.

You will also have:

- A tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Extensive experience in the coordination of bulk purchases, particularly in the management of electronic resources and interpretation of licenses
- A high level of familiarity with analysis techniques to support Collection Development, including familiarity with data structures and protocols such as COUNTER and SUSHI
- Knowledge of budget planning including reporting requirements and related financial operations such as forecasting, tracking expenditure and invoicing
