Our client is a leading financial services company based in Sydney. They are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join the team as a Customer Service Consultant. This role entails interacting with financial advisors and addressing general inquiries, making it an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the financial industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist financial advisors with general queries, product information, and account-related matters
- Ensure accurate and timely resolution of customer inquiries, issues, and complaints
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products, procedures, services, and policies
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex queries and resolve customer issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in the company's CRM system
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide suggestions to enhance overall customer experience

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 12 months of previous experience working in a call centre environment, preferably within the financial services industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathise and build rapport with clients
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns effectively
- Sound knowledge of financial products, services, and industry regulations (previous experience in a similar role is advantageous)
- Ability to multitask and handle high call volumes while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
