Our Vic Gov client is looking for a Transformation Program Lead to lead the development and execution of a large 5-year transformation program.

Project:
Lead by the Chief Risk Officer, the division is responsible for the department’s risk framework and program strategy.

It has the primary functions to embed a foundation of risk culture, seeking to elevate risk and harms knowledge and capability across the organization, and responding to new and emerging issues through a risk-based regulatory approach, research and innovation, and to drive the implementation of the program's roadmap.

Your new role:
The Program Lead will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and People and Capability team to identify key team members and recruit them into the program. This is a business role who will work with our executive team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive program plan including timelines, milestones, of the resource requirements.
- Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring that all costs are accurately tracked and within approved limits.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership on the status of the program, including risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Manage program risks and issues, proactively identifying and mitigating potential problems.
- Ensure that the program is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What you'll need to succeed:

- Experience in the implementation of legislative or regulatory change, in a government operational environment.
- Knowledge of, or experience in reviewing legislation, regulations or codes and developing strategies for their implementation would be highly desirable.
- Experience in working with a team and stakeholders to develop change and implementation plans.
- working with Legal and Communications teams.
- Ability to write documents for approval by decision-making committees, and to communicate effectively to stakeholders.
