**Role and Responsibilities**:
**Invoice Processing**
- Review, verify, code, match and obtain authorisation for invoices and check requests
- Set up shipments for import and enter invoices into system with proper allocation to POs/shipment numbers

**Payment Processing**
- Prepare and execute payment proposals, check runs, electronic transfers, and obtain/distribute remittances
- Reconcile vendor accounts with statements and resolve discrepancies

**Vendor Management & Record Keeping**
- Set up/maintain vendor accounts, respond to inquiries, and maintain organized filing system for all financial documents

**Monthly Reconciliation & Reporting**
- Process and reconcile credit cards, petty cash, purchase clearing, stock in transit, supplier deposits, prepaid expenses, and general accruals
- Run foreign currency revaluation, process bank transactions, complete reconciliations, and generate aging/AP reports
- Provide GST input tax information for BAS return and perform other duties as directed

**Qualification and Experience**:

- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 months' experience in accounts payable or relevant internship
- Demonstrated expense management expertise

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy and compliance standards
- Collaborative team player who works effectively across departments with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with capacity to work independently
- Mandarin proficiency is considered an advantage
