BI Australia is a leading skilled labour hire supplier to the Engineering Metal Workshops. We are looking for a Full Time Floor Supervisor for our client at Prestons NSW 2170.

**Roles and responsibilities**:
Supervise workshop workers.

Preparing and maintaining daily site reports and filling in various documents

Ensuring that all policies and legislation are maintained

Meeting WHS requirements

Conducting induction for the new workers and daily pre-start meetings

**Requirements**:
Experience in a metal fabrication or metal assembly workshop or plant experience is essential

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Australian Workshop

Detailed understanding and implementation of relevant WHS safety standards

Working knowledge of PC skills

Must have own PPE

Manage, motivation, upskilling and training of the workshop team

Strong organisational skills and problem-solving ability

Ability to “get your hands dirty” if required to get the job done.

**Benefits**:
Permanent Position - Day Shift

Salary $40 - $45 per hour

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Prestons, NSW 2170: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse supervisor: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
