A regional council are seeking a Manager of Community Development to lead the Community Services Team.

Nestled 90mins from Perth's CBD, this regional shire is one of WA's most progressive towns in the wheatbelt region. Known for their Horticulture and live stock developments, is strategically located between two of the the states most popular tourist destinations.
**Your new role**
The Shire is is seeking a Manager of Community Development & Stakeholder Services to actively lead the Community Services Team. The successful applicant will be an integral member of Council’s Executive Management Team and will hold responsibilities for the development and implementation of Council’s sustainable development and strategic plans, stakeholder reporting, and economic, social, and urban planning. They will have completed or have substantially advanced in progression towards the completion of relevant tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Business, Communications or related field.
**What you'll need to succeed**
A relevant qualification in Business, Community Development, Marketing or Tourism.
- High-level knowledge of the community development space.
- Highly developed communication skills, including research, reporting and public speaking.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior management position, leading a team of staff.
- Demonstrated experience in community and economic development and service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, achieving tangible and measurable improvements to the community.
- High-level organisational skills and time management, and of managing projects within timeframes and budgets to achieve the required result.
