What You'll Do

- Develop and nurture strong partnerships with community groups, organisations, and individuals to build capacity and coordinate youth development initiatives.

- Plan, implement, and evaluate community and youth programs that respond to the needs of young people.

- Prepare funding submissions, monitor budgets, and communicate social outcomes through reports and bulletins.

- Use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse audiences and support community spirit.

- Maintain accurate administrative records and assist with program promotion and community engagement activities.

What You Bring

- Significant experience in Youth or Community Development, or a related field, supported by a Degree in Community Development, Youth Work, Social Science, or similar.

- Experience working directly with young people and other stakeholders, understanding their unique needs and challenges.

- Strong administration skills, with a proven track record in funding applications, reporting, and budget monitoring.

- Ability to obtain (or current) Working with Children Check and a National Police Clearance.

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and community-focused approach.

What We Are Offering

- A gross annual salary of $91,088, plus superannuation

- Option to work a 19 day month or a 9 day fortnight

- Flexible working arrangements

- Two additional paid days of leave per annum

- 12% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute up to a matching 5%

1. Well-developed knowledge of youth-focussed community development and capacity building theory, principles and practice.

2. Strong interpersonal, public relations and facilitation skills, including the ability to communicate and relate with young people.

3. Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating programs, projects and events.
