**The Opportunity**

Our federal client based in Brisbane is undertaking a large-scale business transformation overhauling the disability sector. The Markets Provider and Sector Development (MPSD) Group is responsible for relationships with Service Providers. Programs of work include Market Stewardship, Market Supply Response, Communications, Market Risk Management, Participant Information.

Multiple positions available at both APS5 ($53.63 per hour + Super) and APS6 ($58.50 per hour + Super) for initial 12 month contracts.

**Assurance Officers**: Analyse and respond to Provider Payment discrepancies, reports on Assurance Outcomes, create Training Manuals for payment assurance remediation and compliance.

You'll be joining a tight team of 10 within 2 streams and be reporting into an EL1 Assistant Director.

**Selection Criteria**
- Undertaking control and conformance testing and providing administrative support for the PPC and SMP Programs.
- Providing input to appropriate assurance and compliance reports to articulate outcomes of review and actions required including delivering compliance decisions to participants and providers.
- Modifying test documentation (Test Guides and Test Forms) to ensure assurance program relevancy.
- Undertaking reviews of targeted claims through engagement with providers, plan managers and participants.
- Contributing to the design of new detective and preventative controls using a combination of manual validation check and systematic analytics.
- Working with various teams to investigate, report on and escalate claims and payments anomalies.

Australian Citizenship required to clear background checks.
