Blake Oliver Recruitment is seeking applications for Claims Officer positions with a leading insurance company. This organisation is expanding one of their Brisbane based claims teams and can offer the roles on a contract or permanent basis. 

We are seeking customer orientated applicants with property claims experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where the policy holders' enquiries and their insurance claims are managed with the utmost professionalism. 

About the Role –

  • Managing property insurance claims from notification through to resolution.
  • Handling phone and email enquiries from policy holders regarding property insurance claims.
  • Arranging repairs and managing reports.
  • Processing claims requests within authority levels.
  • Ensuring work queues are maintained within service level agreements.
  • Ensuring policy holders are kept up to date throughout the life cycle of their claim.
  • Building and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Essential Requirements –

  • Insurance Property Claims management experience is essential.
  • Excellent customer service and administration skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High accuracy levels along with the proven ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
