With ongoing growth in large-scale projects such as substations, transmission lines, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), we are seeking a motivated Graduate Designer to join our **Power Projects team in Underdale, SA.**

This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience throughout the entire project lifecycle—from concept to commissioning. You will work closely with electrical, civil, and structural engineers to deliver critical infrastructure that supports Australia’s clean energy goals.
- Some of the key responsibilities include: _
- Producing accurate, high-quality drawings that meet Downer’s CAD and documentation standards
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop electrical and civil designs
- Using tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Autodesk BIM 360 to support digital delivery
- Participating in quality reviews and helping ensure compliance with client and industry standards
- Supporting integrated data workflows throughout the project lifecycle

**ABOUT YOU**
- You’re a curious and capable design graduate who’s ready to learn, contribute, and grow. Your toolkit includes: _
- A diploma in engineering or a related design discipline
- Familiarity with drafting tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation V8i/CONNECT, and BIM platforms
- Understanding of Australian Standards and drafting best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
- A self-starting attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for infrastructure
