OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the feature scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Lead the feature scrum and development teams in self-organisation
- Remove impediments and coach the feature scrum team on removing impediments
- Help the feature scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
- Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
- Help the feature scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
- Organise sprints aligned to available capacity / expected velocity and retrospectives geared around continuous improvement via identification of past mistakes, potential issues, and new methods to handle going forward. This data is then to be incorporated into the planning of new sprints.
- Develop capacity plans including equipment and resources to ensure timely delivery of the agreed projects
- Manage strategic vendors and partner where required to ensure delivery of project outcomes
- Oversee and measure KPIs to monitor and challenge vendor performance and identify gaps and areas of service improvement
- Safeguard the quality of transition of build into BAU support
- Collaborate with testing team to plan, manage and deliver appropriate testing through the lifecycle of the feature delivery to ensure quality of the work including unit testing, user acceptance testing and penetration testing.
- Maintain solution documentation as appropriate
- Follow the appropriate Team Global Express IT release management processes.
- PRE-REQUISITES:

- Prior experience on a feature scrum team
- Ability to analyse and think quickly and to resolve conflict
- Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the feature scrum
- Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
- Experience with successful Agile techniques
- Ability to work with and lead a feature delivery team
- Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
