We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our team based in Melbourne. As the Scrum Master you will be responsible for facilitating scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning meetings, daily scrum etc. Maintain an overview of team projects, progress, planning and assist with internal and external communications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Guiding the team how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values in a practical manner that increases team efficiencies
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and information share
- Maintain an overall view of team projects, progress and planning
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning meetings, daily scrum, retrospectives, development showcases & project workshops
- Monitor the scrum processes and adapt them as necessary
- Execute the product backlog as prioritised by product owner, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality
- Ensure observance of Scrum definitions DoD (Definition of Done), DoR (Definition of Ready)
- Manage product owners and stakeholders’ priority and expectation and produce regular reporting
- Undertaking of release Management ensuring audit of releases, level of information communicated and process

**Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- 2 + years experience working directly as a Scrum Master focusing on Software development projects
- 3 + years experience working within a Scrum team, as a Business analyst, Software Engineer or Test Analyst.
- Experience working on a range of Software Development projects
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
- Highly skilled in analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have outstanding influencing, negotiation, communication and coaching skills

Good to have:

- Previous experience within the Wealth Management industry
