**Overview**: Through the promotion and facilitation of Danaher Business System, coordinate and control the activities of the warehouse to ensure efficient utilisation of facilities for storing and distributing materials and finished products. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: This role is an important part of the Supply Chain process and supports the mission by ensuring the Sydney Warehouse: - Delivers world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity - Processes are continuously improved through the utilisation of the Danaher Business tools Support the Customer base through ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries of all purchased goods. Support the Field Service team by ensuring they have the right spare parts, when and as needed. Support the Sales team through coordinating accurate, on-time deliveries to and from customer sites. Support business objectives through careful management of inventory levels and expenses related to warehouse and freight. **Reporting Relationships** This role reports to the Financial Controller Regular contact includes: External: Customers, Service & Sales agents, 3rd party suppliers, Freight companies and external Auditors. Internal: Service Engineers, Service Admin team, Sales & Applications teams, Customer Service team, Finance team, Leica BUs, Internal Auditors. **Authority**: Authority to: - Process warehouse transactions - Access to all inventory held by Leica Microsystems Pty Ltd. - Determine and maintain correct level of products - Review and approve for payment warehouse/ freight-related supplier invoices - Set reorder levels for goods (in consultation with relevant management team member, if required). - Order warehouse consumables within pre-approved limits. **Position Accountabilities** **Standards/Measures** **Safety, Environment and Quality** Actively engaged in ensuring a safe working environment. Timely treatment and reporting of any safety incidents. - No safety violations - Zero medical treatments - Zero Lost Time injuries - < 1 hour to report any incident **Compliance** - Timely completions of Compliance Training for self and direct reports - Regular compliance monitoring of direct reports - Successful pass of all Audits - Maintain servicing of warehouse tools and equipment, as required. **Operational** Utilisation & efficiency of resources Stock Accuracy Order Pickings Despatch Receiving Regulatory Compliance Cycle counts and stocktakes - Greater than 90%. - Net variance < 2% by value, all locations. - Sales orders and Stock Transfer Requests picked, packed & shipped by required date & 100% accurate - All goods transacted & shelved within 4 hours of receipt - Zero non-conformance issues - Meet FDA/ISO requirements - Cycle Counts carried out weekly - All discrepancies checked and verified **Continuous Improvement / DBS** Embrace the Danaher requirement for continuous improvement - Maintain 5S practices in warehouse - Recommend continuous improvement initiatives - min 1 / year When you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
