You will be working for an established Australian vendor that provides IT solutions for Government departments & enterprise corporate clients that allows them to effectively manage the customer experience. The company provides custom built solutions for a B2B2C channel so that millions of Australians that work with the Government or Corporates have an effective and easy customer experience. The solutions on offer incorporate hardware & software solutions and integrate with other systems effectively.
You will be responsible for managing existing Government accounts with some enterprise corporate accounts and you will be increasing revenue within those accounts by achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. As this is a small company you will be required to be a Jack-of-all-Trades in managing cross and up-selling, responding to tenders and bids, client liaison, provision of quotes & pricing as well as sorting out customer problems.
This is a national role that allows you to work remotely, go and visit your clients when required and go into the Bondi based office when required.
**The role**:
- Liaise with Government client and Enterprise Corporates to define their goals, objectives and KPIs, and translate these into deliverables
- Client relationship management by maintaining regular contact with customers
- Maintain a consistent awareness of a customer’s brand direction and current activity
- Manage any customer queries regarding their account, products, integration and escalations
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
- Prepare targeted proposals, including quotes for key decision makers
- Ensure sales quotas are achieved
- Promote your IT solutions to potential new customers, ensuring these are tailored to the key decision makers and address key business concerns
- Become a product evangelist by understanding the products on offer
- Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends and developments
- Work with the National Sales Director to develop, execute and maintain customer sales plans
- Deliver accurate revenue forecasts
- CRM maintenance & management
- Ensure timely processing of customer quotes, sales orders and invoices
- Collect and analyse sales data and trends
- Regular management reporting

**To be successful in this role, you must have the following essential criteria**:
- A Graduate with a business degree or relevant industry experience
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Key Account Manager selling IT solutions to Government clients as well as Enterprise corporate accounts
- Solid knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling IT solutions and/or services
- Experience managing key client accounts
- Adept at meeting customer needs and quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction
- Able to evaluate client goals and execute these into action
- Capability to solve complex problems effectively and proactively
- Reporting and analysis skills
- First class verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across varying levels of an organisation
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well autonomously
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach
