**Maintenance Supervisor - Multi-Property**

Two great Brisbane hotels, Quest Cannon Hill & Quest South Brisbane are now recruiting a passionate and hands-on permanent full-time Maintenance Supervisor to look after the day to day upkeep of guest rooms, common areas and building infrastructure.

With 164 rooms between the two hotels, you will be kept busy planning and actioning preventative maintenance, repairing issues as they arise and liaising with third-party contractors to quote and complete works. You’ll be required to perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with OH&S policies and procedures and report any complex maintenance issues to the hotel management.

**_ Quest South Brisbane_** is a 12 storey hotel located within walking distance to three of Brisbane’s major hospitals, The Gabba and the very popular South Bank. The property opened in 2018 in an existing build and has 64 Studio and One Bedroom apartments, swimming pool and large rooftop overlooking the Gabba and Brisbane’s South.

**_ Quest Cannon Hill_**_ _is located just 15 minutes’ drive east of South Brisbane in the leafy suburb of Cannon Hill and is Quest Apartment Hotel’s newest Brisbane offering. Newly built in 2018, the property features 100 Studio, One, Two and Three Bedroom Apartments, as well as a conference facility and swimming pool.

**A day in the life**

As the Maintenance Supervisor you’ll be the go-to person for all maintenance issues. Liaising with the housekeeping and reception teams, you will plan your day based on the needs of the property and the urgency of issues as they arise. You could be repairing and repainting walls in the morning, meeting with contractors and sourcing quotes by lunch time, and inspecting and rectifying maintenance issues in guest rooms in the afternoon. Every day will be different.

**We’re looking for**
- Previous maintenance experience with a trade qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of maintenance areas such as plastering and painting, plumbing, electrical and gardening is highly desired.
- Strong attention to detail & solid time management skills
- A can-do attitude and a positive approach to work
- Great communication skills with our teams and guests
- Manage reporting, documentation and budgets and to ensure accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance plans
- Ability to build rapport with third party suppliers
- A solid understanding of OH&S policies and procedures
