Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, DBCT P/L operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world. This wouldn't be possible without great people - people just like you.
We are seeking a 2 x highly capable and motivated Senior Supervisors with strong people leadership skills. This role will see you home every night, working a day shift only lifestyle roster.

Lead a multi-skilled team in a fast-paced environment to deliver top-tier maintenance that's safe, on time and on budget. Your focus? Keeping terminal assets strong with smart coatings, corrosion control and structural fixes that stand the test of time.

What We Are Looking For

  • Expertise in managing shutdowns and maintenance operations with a focus on efficiency and safety.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic planning, organisation and time management to meet operational goals.
  • Experienced in leading teams through coaching, mentoring and performance development.
  • Ability to assist the Protective Coatings and Structural Maintenance Superintendent in planning and executing the annual maintenance budget.
  • Ability to carry out, track and report on various coating remediation and structural integrity tasks.
  • An effective people leader who can delegate tasks and monitor team performance to meet site-specific asset objectives.
  • Experience with delivering daily and weekly tasks aligned with long-term strategic asset plans, ensuring priorities are met.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to oversee and manage contractors within complex industrial environments.
  • Mechanical, Fabrication or Industrial Coatings trade or other qualification is highly regarded.
  • Experience in using computerised maintenance management systems (e.g. SAP, JDE, Maximo) will be highly valued.
