Batchelor of Science in Computer Science or related discipline
8+ years commercial software development experience in one or more Ingres, ABF and VB.net
Hands-on experience on the Unix scripting
Hands-on experience on writing SQL queries
Hands-on experience on build, test, release of ABF including code version control platforms.
Deep understanding and ability in designing secure, scalable, and operationally stable solutions.
Working knowledge of documentation, coding, testing, and deployment using multiple development languages and platforms
Demonstrable understanding of security best practices and track record of keeping up to date on latest threats and their mitigation
Demonstrably strong understanding of design patterns
Ability to build strong relationships and trust within the Group Technology team, project teams and with business stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
Passionate about utilizing technology to solve problems and deliver business value.
Working knowledge of agile software development

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney City NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
