Then you could be the perfect Manager, Health Information and Records Service (HM2) for our service. Specifically, we’re looking for a professional with relevant tertiary qualifications in health information management, or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience. Someone with demonstrated effective management and leadership/rostering skills including the ability to motivate and develop staff, and exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Here at Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network, the Manager, Health Information and Records Service (HM2) is primarily responsible for leading and managing a diverse and wide-ranging array of staff in a dynamic departmental environment to ensure optimal service delivery that supports the Network in relation to health records management and medico-legal services. The role and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with delegations, policies, procedures and operations systems of JH&FMHN, and in line with both the NSW Health Code of Conduct and JH&FMHN Code of Conduct.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health information management, or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated effective management and leadership/rostering skills including the ability to motivate and develop staff, and exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proven experience in financial management including developing and meeting budgets and staying within staffing limits.
- Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal, communication, professional & negotiation skills with a facilitative style of management that motivates and encourages trust, initiative and teamwork.
- Excellent organisational skills, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, both autonomously and within a team in an environment with mínimal supervision.
- Proven experience in the transition towards an electronic Health Record that involves a strong understanding of change management principles.

- Demonstrated sound understanding of the legislation, regulations, policies and Australian Standards associated with records, information management, medico-legal, privacy and confidentiality.
