**About the role**

Abacus Finance and Property Pty Ltd is seeking a Chinese National Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper, AU residents with no restrictions; to join our dynamic team in our Sydney office. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting support to our growing client base.

**What you'll be doing**
- Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts for clients
- Preparing financial statements, and other reporting documents
- Processing invoices, payments
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
- Providing administrative support to the accounting team
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

**What we're looking for**
- Relevant **tertiary qualification in accounting or bookkeeping**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software
- **Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy**:

- **Proficient** in the use of **accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero**:

- Strong communication in **Mandarin, Cantonese and fluent English** and excellent client service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $46,460.00 - $50,000.00 per year
